The President of Latvia Valdis Zatlers and The First Lady of Latvia Lilita Zatlere visited company PERUZA on March 17, 2011. PERUZA’s Chairman of the Board Mr. Arnis Petranis and member of the Board Mr. Roberts Dlohi presented the company's products and the increasing demand in various world markets.
The President met experienced designers Mr.Alvis Dumbris and Mr.Edvins Steinbergs, head of the Engineering and Design department Mr. Artis Bormanis and young promising specialist at the Engineering and Design department. A conclusion of the President was that there is a perfect mix of mature experience and young energy and modern solutions.
While attending Production department, The President was pleased for the intensive pace of production, all employees focused and productive functioning of the equipment manufacturing. ‘I am puzzled when I meet someone complaining that the Latvian industrial production seems to have stalled. Then I ask them whether you've been at this or that site, or do you know about this or this company's achievements in supplying products to both domestic and export markets? Usually it turns out that the speakers haven’t been on sites and shops, haven’t researched figures,’ said the President, being pleased gaining one more confirmation that a Latvian production exists, it is evolving and obtaining an increasingly visible role in the global markets.
